As president of\u00a0Pacific Capital Strategies<\/strong>, Rodney Dir provides corporate leadership and vision to the organization.\u00a0 Since 1985, Mr. Dir has specialized in comprehensive financial consulting for corporations, agricultural businesses, family farms and affluent individuals.\u00a0 He focuses on asset protection, wealth management, retirement and business planning, and advanced estate and charitable planning for the ultra affluent.\u00a0 Mr. Dir is a member of the Tulare-Kings Counties Estate Planning Council.\u00a0 He is also a member of the Estate Advisory Group, an advanced Estate and Charitable Planning organization.
\nSince entering the industry, Mr. Dir has been involved in every aspect of financial planning.\u00a0 In the past, this has included raising venture capital for companies, as well as assisting in their ongoing management.\u00a0 In addition, he has helped many individuals with their business plans and with organizing, consulting, and investing in numerous private and pre-IPO companies.
\nMr. Dir has served on the advisory boards of several institutions and has worked with their product development departments in assisting with the design of cutting-edge products for the financial services marketplace.\u00a0 As a frequent speaker, he has been instrumental in educating school, business, peers and professional groups regarding various investment, asset protection,\u00a0charitable\u00a0and estate planning-related topics.\u00a0 His speaking engagements have taken him across the United States as well as\u00a0international engagements\u00a0in\u00a0Rome,\u00a0Madrid and Montreux, Switzerland.
\nMr. Dir is a registered representative and investment adviser representative of Commonwealth Financial Network, Member FINRA.\u00a0 He holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 62, 63, and 65 registrations and has also obtained his variable contracts licenses.\u00a0 Mr. Dir has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary\u00ae (AIF\u00ae) professional designation, awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies, which is associated with the University of Pittsburgh.\u00a0 He has received formal training in investment fiduciary responsibility.\u00a0 In addition, Mr. Dir is a licensed independent insurance agent with the State of California, as well as with many other states nationwide.
\nIn 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009,\u00a0Mr. Dir achieved membership in the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT).\u00a0 This internationally recognized association represents the top 1% of financial services professionals worldwide.\u00a0 In addition, his exceptional product knowledge, client service and ethical conduct have elevated Mr. Dir to their prestigious \u201cTop of the Table\u201d.\u00a0 Earning membership in MDRT\u2019s Top of the Table is a distinguishing career milestone and only attained by approximately 1,000 members worldwide.<\/p>\n

Mr. Dir is also a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors or NAIFA.\u00a0 NAIFA is the nation\u2019s largest financial services membership association representing the interest of more than 70,000 insurance and financial advisors nationwide.\u00a0 Mr. Dir is also a member of the International Forum.\u00a0 The\u00a0International Forum consists of 330 of the\u00a0leading financial services professionals\u00a0worldwide and\u00a0provides an educational forum for the open exchange of diverse ideas and expertise to foster personal business and professional growth.\u00a0 In addition, Mr. Dir is a current member of FSI, the Financial Services Institute.
\nMr. Dir is also the Founder and President of the Rodney D. Dir\/Pacific Capital Foundation. The Foundation is a charitable organization\u00a0that supports the less fortunate in our local communities. On a more personal note, Mr. Dir is an active community volunteer who values family and friends.\u00a0He has served on the boards of\u2014and actively supports\u2014several local charities.\u00a0 Most recently, he spent seven years as a volunteer leader for a national high school youth organization.\u00a0 Rod also enjoys outdoor sports, skydiving, and has been involved with competitive martial arts for the past 18 years. In the year 2011 and onwards, Rodney D. Dir is advisor of the international organization \u201cDiplomatic Mission Peace And Prosperity\u201d (DMPP), with offices in Albania, as and the journalist of the magazine \u201cEagle\u2019s Wing\u201d,\u00a0 publication of this mission.
